your best bet is lessons. if you don't have the cash for them, perhaps you have a friend who can teach you for free?

thats cool, but make sure he doesnt get the one with the floating bridge. it makes it all a little complicated...

start off wiv slow an simple stuff, maybe buy some gitar magazines , an practise, it takes time, im lerning 2 :3

A lefty huh?? While im a bassist, ive played guitar for years too. Have owned all levels of Ibanez gear, and have found there low end stuff to be very good. From my experience, ive found Squire to be more hit and miss with guitars than Ibanez, and especially the Affinity series.

practice some chords and experiment with the strumming pattern that will help you to play better everyone do the same thing so if you get used to it you'll notice the difference between chord and difference between strumming goodluck
